If you need to cancel or reschedule your surgical appointment, please provide 2 business days’ notice. You may be assessed a cancellation fee if you fail to notify the office. For a missed cosmetic appointment, your credit card will be charged. Please realize that your appointment holds a slot during which another patient cannot be seen.

Insurance Billing Information
Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. We bill many Health Insurance Plans, and we are contracted with a few local Managed Care or HMO plans. Many Managed Care or HMO plans require a pre-authorization prior to being seen. Please check with your Health Insurance Company for benefit information before your visit. At the time of the visit, we require a copy of your insurance card, pre-authorization, and co-pays. It is the patient's responsibility to provide current insurance to Dermatologist Medical Group of North County.

Payment Information
Accurate insurance information is due at the time the appointment is made.

Co-payments are due at the time of service.

Cash pay patients must pay in full at the time of the service or prior to the date of the procedure.

Cosmetic procedures require a credit card to hold the appointment or deposit at the time the appointment is made.

Payment of bills is expected upon receipt of our statement. Accounts that are referred to a collection agency must be paid in full prior to scheduling any future appointments.

Prescription Refills

Log into your Patient Portal by clicking here and send the Charge Nurse a message under the Contact Us section. If you have questions or need help accessing your Patient Portal, please call our office and we will be happy to assist you.

Depending upon the last time you were seen in our office and the medication refill being requested, an office visit may be needed.

Please allow 48 hours for our office to coordinate your refill, as your Physician will need to review your medical chart.
